Other running backs were competing against QBs having amazing seasons.

Due to injuries and regression passing numbers overall are down this year. Brady just got to 30 TDs last week and depending on how this week goes he may not even pass Wentz even though he’s been out the past few weeks.
No they were not competing against QBs having amazing seasons. How amazing was were the QBs when LT and Alexander won back to back? Peyton was second with 31 and 9. In 2006 Brady led the league I passing with 4100 or something when Alexander won. So no. Those guys put up videogame numbers and the QBs were average. Brady is having what would be a career year for 96% of QBs.

1.) Tom Brady is having an amazing season. So was Wentz For 13 games and Russell Wilson who has accounted for a historic amount of his teams offense.

2.) Give me another mvp in history who was a non factor in the race all season to the last 3 weeks to actually win

3.) People are essentially saying the first 3 months of the season don’t count

Brady getting it. Even though Gurley is by far. The MVP..

He's the main reason Rams got 11 wins, main reason Goff gets one on one coverage for his receivers, main reason 800 yards passing Goff has is become of him...

But with ESPN and skip they usually stay dikk riding Brady even though he been average at best this year

Tom Brady is at 30 TDs 8 ints on 68% and 4387 yards. Due to the weather tomorrow I don’t expect NE to throw all that much so he’ll probably finish with 32 TDs and 4600 yards. Most years in this pass heavy era this’ll get you Phillip Rivers type recognition.

2012 He had 63% 34 Td 8 int and 4827 yards
Peyton had 68% 37 TDs and 11 int with 4627 yards.

Both of these seasons are as good or better than 2017 Brady.

Yet Adrian Peterson still won MVP with:
2314 total yards 6 ypc and 13 TDs

Gurley
2093 yards and 19 TDs

with one less game played and probably even more because the Rams have taken him out so much due to blowouts

Now mind you, I’m not even saying the guy doesn’t deserve it but yo act like it’s a slam dunk this year of all years is crazy

I could see Gurley getting it (maybe) if only because the Rams came out of nowhere. NFL really wants LA to be successful to justify the move. Brady is putting up great numbers but nothing that he hasn't already done before. MJ only won the NBA MVP 5x and LeBron has only won it 4x.

Of course, TB only has 2 league MVP's so they might give him another. 4 SB MVP's but only 2 league MVP's seems kinda weird.

hes really not. mcvay is. by far. they also upgraded the o line substantially. the tackle they picked up has been the best in the league this season. saffold having a career year next to him. no team has been better at getting their hogs to the second level and clearing the way

Just now seeing that. I guess it isn't worth it since playing in LA isn't really any type of home field advantage :heh:

I think they see the #4 seed as a better spot, think about it, would rather face the Eagles with Nick Foles and their suspect looking D or the Vikings who beat them in Minneapolis this season
