Propaganda and negative interactions. Many of us thinking we can talk crazy to EVERYBODY because "we don't have any power :duck::comeon:". Many things but let's not act like it's all the white man's propaganda :martin: It's not.:mjlol:

Tbh, we're not.

We're mostly just hated in the U.S. because of the troubled history with White America and the competition over space/resources/jobs with certain non-Black minorities.

But, outside America, we're rarely hated like that. I traveled to Latin America before and, over there, we're seen as Gringos just like White Americans. And the biggest stigma down there is towards Indigenous people, local Afro-Latinos, or poor migrant Latinos from neighboring countries.

Also, across the world, there's more hate when it comes to local Indigenous people(First Nations in Canada, Maoris in New Zealand, Abos in Australia), national/regional rivalries(Japan vs South Korea, India vs Pakistan, Nigeria vs. Ghana, Western Europe vs. Eastern Europe, Israel vs. Palestine, etc.) as well as migrant issues involving Africans, Middle Easterners, Latin Americans, Romanians/Gypsies, Polish, Albanians, etc.

I think the belief that Black Americans are the "most hated in the world" gets perpetuated by racist non-Black Americans projecting their own views into the rest of the world or Pro-Black Hoteps who take odd delight in the belief of Black Americans being the most hated worldwide and being "the real Chosen people" and what have you.

But, the more you travel, the more you realize this is false. Black American hatred is very much concentrated in the U.S. itself. Mexican Mestizos in Mexico will treat a Black American far better than he would a Mestizo Honduran or a Venezuelan. Go figure.

Then why are most Latinos quick to denounce their black ancestry?

The idea of being "Black" is purely a product of Slavery that persisted in the US and Brazil to enforce racist hierarchies. The rest of the world acknowledges nationality, ethnicity, and tribe wayyy before race.

Historically, A lot of Latinos and even UK Africans/Caribbeans dont consider themselves Black (even though they look like Wesley Snipes) because to them "Black"= Descendent of African American slave and solely of that culture.

THough I will say there is racism that influences the "me no black papi" as well due to propaganda AND the fact that Black has begun to mean all people of color with lineage from Africa who suffer under post-colonialist/WS circumstances (as the rest of the world has gotten hip to the struggle we all are in).

even UK Africans/Caribbeans dont consider themselves Black

I wish you guys would stop saying this shyt. :gucci:

Even in the rest of Europe they generally would say they’re Black, let alone in the UK. We even identify as it formally on forms.

If you say you aren’t Black here as a Caribbean/African, you’re getting cooked :dead:

I’m not saying it has never been said but it is a minority view.

Television, movies media throughout the decades

When other countries turned on American tv and movies they assumed by those images thats how we really are, because they have never been around American blacks in large numbers to know , we do have educated, hard working and positive people…

Black Americans are not our own "Race".

We are our OWN Ethnic Group, within the "Black Race".

The World hates Black Folks(All Black Folks), but if you know history, you will know that this is a RECENT Phenomenon.

"Whites" have went overboard with Anti-Black Propaganda, and Media to demonize Black Folks(ALL Black Folks)

But to answer your question about Black Americans...

It is because we are the MOST VISIBLE Black Population, the current "Pop Culture" of What is "Cool" is based upon our Culture(s)

People Hate what they ENVY!
African is our race. Black is an ethnic identifier we call ourselves. It is unique to us, no other African ethnic groups used it as their ethnic identifier until we popularized it. Plus most don't even have "Black" in their language

These questions are so obtuse...all you need to do is learn and research history and you'll have your answer to the question. It's not difficult to understand why this is such a phenomenon on American soil and the world if we're talking about Black people in general.

I disagree with this “crime” notion often peddled by cowardly racists who are too afraid to stand on their beliefs without looking for someone to blame...so they use stereotypical crime response as a way to justify their racism and disdain under the guise of being “cautious for safety reasons” when the reality is that the hate is deeper than crime and existed long before that even because a talking point.

By claiming that hate, prejudice, and negative racial attitudes, beliefs, and stereotypes of Black Americans (or Black people rather in general) are the response to crimes being committed by a segment of Black individuals you're ignoring and downplaying the significance of over 400 years of racial propaganda and media deceptions painting and portraying Black people especially Black Americans in a negative light since the country's existence.

Were Black people in the 1800s, and early 1900s throughout Reconstruction and Jim Crow violent and crime-ridden? NO. Since Black people in those eras were very nonviolent due to numerous circumstances, crime was very low, what else would be the justifiable reason to do all the aforementioned towards Black Americans in particular if it's not hate?

So if crime is the defacto culprit of racial attitudes towards Black Americans, then I guess all the racist laws, lynchings, segregation, slavery and everything in between weren't because of hate but just indifference, huh? Or is it Intolerance such as racist film maker D.W. Griffith coined as the title for his sequel to Birth of A Nation, the movie infamously used to paint Black Americans negatively for hundreds and thousands of eyes to see.

See I know better than that...it's deeper than just flimsy crime stats and Fox News rhetoric. Non-Black racists have despised and hated Black people for over 400 years, hell since the existence of America and throughout much of this country's inception it's not because of crime being the justification.

We allow others to push negative images of us and it paints a bad impression in people's minds. But we have a who gives a fukk attitude and even play into it, which makes it worse. Plus, Black women and gays have quickly jumped into the spotlight as the annoying liberal representative in a lot of right wing people's minds.

The mainstream media, Black feminists and rappers are the 3 main propaganda forms used against us.
