African is our race. Black is an ethnic identifier we call ourselves. It is unique to us, no other African ethnic groups used it as their ethnic identifier until we popularized it. Plus most don't even have "Black" in their language

Yes African is our "Race". (more precisely "Black African")

No we didn't start calling ourselves Black as an Ethnic Group, Whites Did: (Negro (Spanish), Niger(Latin)), (Before America).
We came into "America" as multiple different Ethnic groups.

Our Ethnic Identifier is not ONLY "Black".

It would be "African American", Some people prefer "ADOS", "FBA", or just "Black American".

Before that some of us considered ourselves as "Negro", "Colored" etc...

"Black" is a PHENOTYPE, just as "White" is.

"Black" is a collection of physical traits that originated on the African Continent.

There are Records Thousands of Years Old, of People Calling Africans (and Other Groups), Blacks.

There are Arabic documents calling Africans "Black", BEFORE the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.

There are Egyptian documents of people being refereed to as "A Black Man", or "A Black Woman"

Hell the Arabic Word "SUDAN" literally means "The Land Of The Blacks".

Before that we had the Greeks calling Africans and People who Resembled Africans as "Aethiopians" "Burnt Faces" AKA "Blacks".

So No we are not the "Only Blacks", we ARE however one of the first "Black" groups to Embrace the concept of "Blackness".

There are also Non-African, Black "Eurasians" like Melanesian(meaning "Black Islanders") , "Australoids", and "Negritos"(meaning "Small Blacks")

African Americans are not the most hated globally

Globally, the most hated ethnic groups are probably, in no particular order: Roma (“gypsies”), Han Chinese, Ashkenazi Jews, the English

African Americans are only hated by cacs in America

The above mentioned groups are hated in multiple countries across the world!

Black Americans might be the internet most hated but we’re not the most hated in fact with our American status and influence I’d say we’re one of the most liked.

Also Black Americans are the only true “Black” people

Are White Americans "The Only True White People", OR are the
British, French, Russians, Swedish Etc... Also "Whites"?

The same criteria that would make Black Americans the "Only True Black People",
would ALSO MAKE White Americans, the "Only True White People".

By that "logic": British, French, Russians, Swedish Etc... would not be White.

These questions are so obtuse...all you need to do is learn and research history and you'll have your answer to the question. It's not difficult to understand why this is such a phenomenon on American soil and the world if we're talking about Black people in general.

I disagree with this “crime” notion often peddled by cowardly racists who are too afraid to stand on their beliefs without looking for someone to blame...so they use stereotypical crime response as a way to justify their racism and disdain under the guise of being “cautious for safety reasons” when the reality is that the hate is deeper than crime and existed long before that even because a talking point.

By claiming that hate, prejudice, and negative racial attitudes, beliefs, and stereotypes of Black Americans (or Black people rather in general) are the response to crimes being committed by a segment of Black individuals you're ignoring and downplaying the significance of over 400 years of racial propaganda and media deceptions painting and portraying Black people especially Black Americans in a negative light since the country's existence.

Were Black people in the 1800s, and early 1900s throughout Reconstruction and Jim Crow violent and crime-ridden? NO. Since Black people in those eras were very nonviolent due to numerous circumstances, crime was very low, what else would be the justifiable reason to do all the aforementioned towards Black Americans in particular if it's not hate?

So if crime is the defacto culprit of racial attitudes towards Black Americans, then I guess all the racist laws, lynchings, segregation, slavery and everything in between weren't because of hate but just indifference, huh? Or is it Intolerance such as racist film maker D.W. Griffith coined as the title for his sequel to Birth of A Nation, the movie infamously used to paint Black Americans negatively for hundreds and thousands of eyes to see.

See I know better than that...it's deeper than just flimsy crime stats and Fox News rhetoric. Non-Black racists have despised and hated Black people for over 400 years, hell since the existence of America and throughout much of this country's inception it's not because of crime being the justification.
Im not saying I agree...im just answering the question.

youre talking about history but people dont take anything that far...
people deal with whats in front of them

but yes...
in the modern era if someone has a negative opinion of black folks its because they're looking at the crime in major cities and the lack of performance of black folks in areas not dealing with entertainment

not sure how anyone can make this thread and get offended with the answer

with that said...
as a black person if you have a little bit of sense you can bypass all that relatively easy

I didn't watch the video, so huge chance I'm missing the point, but I've always felt Indians and Pakistanis are the most hated

You go anywhere and everyone generally hates them.

There’s a lot of intellectual dishonesty in these replies.

This is the most logical, and intellectually honest answer.

Lmao @ all the deflection :mjpls:

It's proof the OP is asking a valid question.

Mass media is the reason why, though.

How many folks have an entire feature film shytting on their people registered in the Library of Congress as a historic piece of art?

It was the first feature film to be shown in the White House as well.

Historically, A lot of Latinos and even UK Africans/Caribbeans dont consider themselves Black (even though they look like Wesley Snipes) because to them "Black"= Descendent of African American slave and solely of that culture.

:mjlol:

I’ve been there. They consider themselves black, breh. Ion know where you got that from.
