yeah that was great and all that, but how long did it last?
Longevity is more impressive than being hot for a couple of years.

all them nikkas did 100-200k sale wise...

it wasnt really about the gold n platinum with p..it was a numbers game...to p...

it was about him takin nikkas u never heard of...and makin em 100k-200k sold...with no promotion cept in the inserts...

alot of nikkas on here...who was fan of no limit...couldnt tell u who half them nikkas was in the beginning...

numbers talk...

and majors r watchin seein who moving units with no help...

youre a top five poster just based on the knowledge you drop.

i always wondered why no limit went from flooding the game to slowing to a crawl.

i bought up most of their albums, they made it almost like collecting, you just almost always wanted to own everything they dropped.

shyts 2013 n im still mad tank doggs and d.i.g.s albums never dropped.

@shopthatwrecks :ohhh:

So are you saying that an album like Skull Duggery - TheseStreets Wicked and then another compilation and other albums might all have the SAME barcode...so sales for all those albums would count as sales for one album when scanned?

Yup I even posted pictures of how flip was doin it the other day

P was flooding the game with stuff like sdtrks n compilations ... the sameway flip was with his mixtapes ...

N down here u could get flip mixtapes at circuit city best buy wherehouse music n shyt like that...which was strange kuz tx had huge underground scene

N flip shyt was the only one with mixtapes in major chains

Thugga had his own store n he could put all of his shyt n sell em there buying never saw bho music in major stores... N slim was the only one in our underground scene seein flip number wise without cheating

if u was in a mom n pop store n keepin track with pen n pad the old fashion way...that's the only way u could pick it up

P was smart with his shyt ... I got the hook up off memory had two dfferent scans...

See this waht im talking about here. With all the subpar music No Limit had a person could miss out on a gem like this. I no P was looking out for his crew but he should have just put them on a compilation album and push the artists who actually had talent and a chance at longevity. Like really who the fukk bought a Mercedes album except to have that cover of her bent over.

Had an uncle who used to bump nothing but no limit so I know exactly what you're talking about with Mercedes :noah:

He's also still the only person I know that bumps C Murder on the regular.

I was listening through the No Limit Greatest Hits on iTunes, most of it was :trash:

anyone who says they weren't putting out 90% trash is riding the nostalgia wave

best No Limit albums were Top Dogg and Tha Last Meal, because Snoop Dogg hwas allowed to use his own producers and do what the fukk he wanted
You're a lie also. First off IMO snoop has NO good records and is also IMO the worst thing to happen to rap music. Two you must have not listened to the Fiend albums or the MAC albums get out of here saying Snoop had the best album dude is trash and always has been
