He went at Jay-z for the made up drug dealer raps mostly. That was part of his issue with Biggie as well as the whole getting setup/shot by Puffy. Tupac didn't care for rappers that rapped about lives they never lived....He would've been a gray haired old man these days if he lived with all of the people he would've had to continue calling out since Puffy/Biggie/Jay-z made the fake drug dealer and rich lifestyle raps popular.
:what: The fukk are you talking about? Jay was heavy in the dope game when Pac was a ballerina.

There's a plethora of reasons to attack Jay's character, but he was legit in the streets.

Jay Z has always been fake. Please don't believe none of his drug shyt. If anything he was a corner boy. Nothing big.
No he isn't. He was no Rayful Edmond but he touched serious weight and was much more than a cornerboy. I have talked to people in VA who vouched for this BEFORE Reasonable Doubt when he was just "the In My Lifetime nikka." And this is coming from arguably the most prolific Jay Z hater in coli history.

"Rappers want to be actors
So they play the Jesse James Character" (outlaw) - Wyclef

Obvious shyt.

The question you SHOULD be asking is why would THEY diss Pac...you think it might have something to do with Clef being friends with Henchman and being related to Jack?

fukk all that "I loved Pac" noise all these nikkas try to kick after the fact. I hate Flex but at least he kept it consistent.

Pacewon was bytching about how Eminem didn't put him and his Outsiderz crew on, but neither did Wyclef, but Pace ain't calling out Clef about it the way he called out Eminem over the same thing. That guy with the dreads from the OutsiderZ killed that last verse on that Cowboy song.

I was talking against the opinion that Pac was willy nilly firing off at dudes for no reason. Apparently the op wasnt even making that point so :yeshrug:

No I dont think its cool being a spokesman for dudes who tried to extort a dude you have no personal beef with just because dude declined on being financially raped by the same cats bending you over financially on some Pulp Fiction shytNH).

I ain't say it was cool, just that it makes sense. If you beefin with my family it kinda becomes personal at that point, no?

Him trying to be slick about it is what I have a problem with, especially trying to dance around the situation after the fact. I doubt Pras signed off on that shyt but you wanna be up in the video lollygagging with these nikkas while they talk about cowboys, outlaws, actors getting shot up ect...:pacspit: you too.

Pace was on Ammityville but got asked to change his verse up a little bit...this ain't the fukkin lyricist lounge, this is a major, MAJOR album and you wanna get butthurt because you got asked to tweak your verse?

:camby:

Ungrateful...and from what somebody was saying on here (can't fact check this) Lauryn was clowning the Outz for fukkin with Em because he was white. Seems to me like Em heard about him being two faced and kinda distanced himself because of that and threw a little shot at Lauryn behind it.

You're misrepresenting facts. Totally.

So that didn't happen?

We ain't hear a word about Jimmy Henchmen or Haitian Jack til almost two years after that shooting, and by the time we did, he was gone.

Before we heard about Henchmen and Jack and Tut... we heard about Big, Puffy, Junior Mafia, Mobb Deep, Chino XL, Stretch, etc... he ain't say in an interview nor song until "Against All Odds" who shot him, and this is after a YEAR of alluding that it was Biggie.

Before I begin, I find it sad that bad is considered good in the black community.
:francis:

Richard Nixon said that it would take blacks 500 years to get it together. I think he missed a zero if we continue to celebrate dumb nikkas who's claim to fame is being ruthless and destroying the black community for a rep then subsequently rapping about it.

Pimps & pushers are celebrated to no end. If youre not one of the dummies who's proud of their city's body count, im not referring to you though..

My NY uncle who grew up in BK was heavy in the game, knew of Klein and the real 50 and he told me that Jayz wasnt the don that HE claims to be.

:yeshrug:

I know you might mean he had put in more "work" (smh who fckin cares)then Pac at the time but even Pac's enemies would admit he was a natural born leader & not a "scary" cat... At least Pac tried to speak on black empowerment at times but was still contradictory as fck...:francis:

Brooklyn O.G. Discredits Jay-Z
Brooklyn Don, Calvin "Klein" Bacote speaks on Jay-Z. Claiming Jay's rhymes revolve around HIS life not Jay's and that Nas spoke nothing but the truth on Ether.

by joelz

During the ‘80s and early ‘90s in Brooklyn, one of the names
ringing in the streets was Calvin
“Klein” Bacote. Not to be
confused with the fashion designer. This is the man that most would recognize
the name from Jay-Z’s Allure, “I never felt more alive/ than ridin’ shotgun in Klein’s green five.”

Recently released from prison, after spending his last 13
years locked up on drug charges; Bacote
is determined to hit the streets hard. From working with DJ Clark Kent on a new mixtape series Streets is Talking; starting his own label, Shut Em DownEntertainment
(currently with acts such as Natural
and St. Laz); to being Akon's tour manager.

Klein was
recently on Kay Slay’s Shade45 radio show and discussed some
interesting issues about fellow Brooklynite, Jay-Z.

You were afilliated with,
you were partners with Jay-Z early in his career?

“Don’t go partners.
That’s a little too much for dude. To give him that in the 80’s that’s like way
too much … I mean back then, he was in line. He was a soldier”
Klein responded. “In the 80’s … Jay was not trying to be a drug dealer, he was trying to
be a rapper. In order for him to transcend himself into this hell of a dude, he
had to take characters of guys from the 80’s; one being myself.”

So this is one of
those stories of rappers not speaking about real life and they’re speaking
about someone else’s life?

“I mean I give him 10%
of his life he talked about … He’s from Brooklyn. He lived in Marcy Projects.
His name was Shawn Carter. He got that right”

“You see James Brown
getting royalties for people sampling him right? I want royalties from you
sampling me now,”
Klein said
then proceeded to repeat Jay’s line
from Allue. “He was humble about it. He
gotta realize you can’t just live the next person’s life without acknowledging
‘em when they come home.”
[So he did pay homage?]“Yea he had to.”

Pac said "those nikkaz who made la la, fukk them nikkaz"

Fatal made two cnn diss tracks..the 2nd featured napoleon..went hard at tragedy and cnn for biting outlawz names etc,,
