So that didn't happen?

We ain't hear a word about Jimmy Henchmen or Haitian Jack til almost two years after that shooting, and by the time we did, he was gone.

Before we heard about Henchmen and Jack and Tut... we heard about Big, Puffy, Junior Mafia, Mobb Deep, Chino XL, Stretch, etc... he ain't say in an interview nor song until "Against All Odds" who shot him, and this is after a YEAR of alluding that it was Biggie.
I said you're misrepresenting the facts and you continue to do so.

It's a little disingenuous to say we didn't hear a word about Jimmy Henchman or Haitian Jack for two years when 2Pac spent one of those years in jail. You heard it on the follow-up to his return album, which came out only several months later. That's what I mean by misrepresenting. He said it. Pretty blatantly, although I guess there's a timetable for when that's allowed. Imagine if he had remained alive after saying it? He would've said it some more. What point are you trying to make?

Second, maybe you thought he was alluding it was Biggie, whatever that means. He implicated him, yes, and said that BIG knew what was going to happen. So...? Really, what are you whining about? First he was emotional and now he didn't call out people as quick as you wanted. Just enjoy the music because it seems you're the one who gets emotional about the backstory.

Not true he did a vibe interview when he was locked naming tut, jack, and henchman as being responsible for his shooting but Kevin Powell (the interviewer) changed their names

Before I begin, I find it sad that bad is considered good in the black community.
:francis:

Richard Nixon said that it would take blacks 500 years to get it together. I think he missed a zero if we continue to celebrate dumb nikkas who's claim to fame is being ruthless and destroying the black community for a rep then subsequently rapping about it.

Pimps & pushers are celebrated to no end. If youre not one of the dummies who's proud of their city's body count, im not referring to you though..

My NY uncle who grew up in BK was heavy in the game, knew of Klein and the real 50 and he told me that Jayz wasnt the don that HE claims to be.

:yeshrug:

I know you might mean he had put in more "work" (smh who fckin cares)then Pac at the time but even Pac's enemies would admit he was a natural born leader & not a "scary" cat... At least Pac tried to speak on black empowerment at times but was still contradictory as fck...:francis:

Brooklyn O.G. Discredits Jay-Z
Brooklyn Don, Calvin "Klein" Bacote speaks on Jay-Z. Claiming Jay's rhymes revolve around HIS life not Jay's and that Nas spoke nothing but the truth on Ether.

by joelz

During the ‘80s and early ‘90s in Brooklyn, one of the names
ringing in the streets was Calvin
“Klein” Bacote. Not to be
confused with the fashion designer. This is the man that most would recognize
the name from Jay-Z’s Allure, “I never felt more alive/ than ridin’ shotgun in Klein’s green five.”

Recently released from prison, after spending his last 13
years locked up on drug charges; Bacote
is determined to hit the streets hard. From working with DJ Clark Kent on a new mixtape series Streets is Talking; starting his own label, Shut Em DownEntertainment
(currently with acts such as Natural
and St. Laz); to being Akon's tour manager.

Klein was
recently on Kay Slay’s Shade45 radio show and discussed some
interesting issues about fellow Brooklynite, Jay-Z.

You were afilliated with,
you were partners with Jay-Z early in his career?

“Don’t go partners.
That’s a little too much for dude. To give him that in the 80’s that’s like way
too much … I mean back then, he was in line. He was a soldier”
Klein responded. “In the 80’s … Jay was not trying to be a drug dealer, he was trying to
be a rapper. In order for him to transcend himself into this hell of a dude, he
had to take characters of guys from the 80’s; one being myself.”

So this is one of
those stories of rappers not speaking about real life and they’re speaking
about someone else’s life?

“I mean I give him 10%
of his life he talked about … He’s from Brooklyn. He lived in Marcy Projects.
His name was Shawn Carter. He got that right”

“You see James Brown
getting royalties for people sampling him right? I want royalties from you
sampling me now,”
Klein said
then proceeded to repeat Jay’s line
from Allue. “He was humble about it. He
gotta realize you can’t just live the next person’s life without acknowledging
‘em when they come home.”
[So he did pay homage?]“Yea he had to.”
Um, yeah so one of the biggest and most notorious drug dealers in crack era Brooklyn who now hates Jay Z and has a predilection to try and discredit him admits he was a "soldier" in the crew. Thanks for clearing that up.

Pac gave Jimmy and Jack's names to Kevin Powell while he was in jail, he didn't print them. He didn't mention any names on AEOM. Once Hit Em Up dropped and blew up like it did is when he started putting names out there. He was dead 3 months later.

Got cacs out here like spiders setting up financial webs for nikkas, got nikkas ganging up like young leapords robbing an old granny for her purse like she's an older zebra with a limp, an easy kill, if you will....

Then I was like.... :mjcry:

We're here dicussing who the biggest, baddest alpha rap dog was...

Your emotions are preventing you from reading comprehension.

You're telling me the same shyt I said. Like I said, we heard nothing of these people until November 5, 1996 when the Makaveli album dropped.

Prior to that, there was over a year's worth of interviews and songs about everybody but them.

This is fact.

The Makaveli album was darker than AEOM and that Eyez album only had one track that named names and that was hit em up
On Makaveli he said everything

Hit Em Up wasn't on AEOM. It was a B-Side to the California Love/How Do U Want It single that went to #1.

:stopitslime: You calling my Uncle Henry a liar too B? You want these hands son? :mjlol:

I guess it all depends on who you ask. Lets say he WAS a big drug dealer and he contributed to a few hundred more crack babies walking around with brain damage circa 2015 than Pac did.

:lolbron:

Thats good shyt nikka!

Then took it back

I forget what interview but Klein changed his tune. He was just trying to discredit Jay because he put him on hold when he wanted him to pay "homage".

He broke it down on some interview, if I find it I'll post it.

But it basically goes, Klein get's home and wants some money. Jay not being a fukking idiot suggests rather than just cash him out and looking mad suspicious (It's been implied that Klein did time for Jay so he could continue rappin) he suggests like a like 10 million dollar investment to go toward whatever business project, but it had to be organized and he told Klein to make it "make sense".

He took that as disrespect initially and started going in on his street cred until they worked something out, then he changed his tune. He wanted his money how and when he wanted it. These nikkas were shook to even talk to each other on the phone due to not wanting to arousing suspicion..da fukk you think is gonna happen if y'all start exchanging millions of dollars directly?

Klein was mad at Jay because he was trying to avoid a Murda Inc situation where you slide OG some bread only for him to get back into his old habits...

He says in this video here that he shouldn't have done those interviews and that Jay was right to protect himself.
