At the very least you can understand Memphis Bleek and Guru’s devotion to Jay. I put them in the same category i’d put Jungle in for Nas in the aspect that Memphis is like a brother to Jay and Guru’s entire career is owed to Jay; so they get a pass.

I’ll also say that Just Blaze seems pretty level headed. He’s another one who benefited greatly from his association with Jay but i’ve never seen or heard of him going off the deep end to exult him as some deity.

nikkas like 9th Wonder, Charlemagne, Elliot Wilson, and Dream Hampton outta be ASHAMED of themselves however. Especially since Elliot and Dream are supposed to be JOURNALISTS and remain neutral, but Elliot Wilson was a shameless Jay-Z dikkrider whilst running one of the most influential Hip Hop publications during rap’s commercial and mainstream peak. That shyt is fukking unforgivable.

Nahhh when Nas put out Nasir, Lost Tapes 2, and Kings Disease journalists and reviewers routinely brought up those allegations as points against him. Rolling Stone and Pitchfork especially.

On “Til the War Is Won,” a performative tribute to Black women, he disavows “coward men that were beating on you,” then mutters, as an aside: “Never me.” Whether Nas doth protest too much is up for debate; either way, he clearly feels sorry for himself. He also apparently does not see the irony of claiming some women want to “slump” him.

That aside, I’d think we’d all be against black men being railroaded by unfounded allegations

We're talking about thecoli, not right wing conspiracy nuts on Twitter who think Jay is illuminati (they think all celebs are illuminati btw, so they would say the same about Nas). Who on here is calling Jay satan? Who on here said Jay killed Big and Pac? No one, that's who.

And Nas got some backlash for the accusations. It's just most reasonable people could see those accusations weren't passing the smell test. What do you want, Nas to be cancelled or some shyt?
