im tired of being angry and frustrated....seriously what can I do to stop being so cynical? Im tired of being of being so angry and miserable...Im so competitive that I cant play video games anymore because I hate losing so much i contemplate breaking the controller against the wall....I really do need some mental help...so thats not even an outlet......Ill admit it, the first step is to admit u have a problem...im not crazy or nothing so my issue can be fixed i assume

I need a step by step plan...I just want to find peace... Im not looking for happiness, but just being content

Diet and hit the gym :wow:

I hit a point where I was :scust: with my body and decided to change it. I didn't care about the broads, but I definetly have the urge to go out and walk around more and be seen because I feel good about myself. Thing is I get random bouts of depression I need to work on :francis: But when i'm not low I be walking around making eye contacts with chicks like :jawalrus:.....just need to workout a gameplan to bag these hoes ,and fix my mental health:jbhmm:

You may be suffering from a undiagnosed personality disorder or depression.

I have a family member who was diagnosed with ASPD and NPD, and he once had a similar negative outlook.

Do you identify with any of the 3 groups below? There is free mental health centers in most major cities.

Depression:

  • Feelings of sadness, tearfulness, emptiness or hopelessness
  • Angry outbursts, irritability or frustration, even over small matters
  • Loss of interest or pleasure in most or all normal activities, such as sex, hobbies or sports
  • Sleep disturbances, including insomnia or sleeping too much
  • Tiredness and lack of energy, so even small tasks take extra effort
  • Changes in appetite — often reduced appetite and weight loss, but increased cravings for food and weight gain in some people
  • Anxiety, agitation or restlessness
  • Slowed thinking, speaking or body movements
  • Feelings of worthlessness or guilt, fixating on past failures or blaming yourself for things that aren't your responsibility
  • Trouble thinking, concentrating, making decisions and remembering things
  • Frequent or recurrent thoughts of death, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts or suicide
  • Unexplained physical problems, such as back pain or headaches

Don't ignore this brehs...I fukked up in school trying to ignore my mental health problems. I thought just dieting and working out would help but sometimes we need more. Making an appointment for a psychiatrist when I get back to Seattle :wow:

People who advocate dieting and working out don't understand mental illness.

You CANNOT fix yourself from the outside in.

You will feel better temporarily, but it won't last because the underlying problem (lack of real self worth) that caused you to not take care of yourself in the first place, is still there.

But from my point of view that is the first thing doctors seem to tell you to switch up because they want to try something before giving you medication. So I gave it a go, not to mention I wanted to lose weight anyway but :francis:

I mainly did it because I was brought up going to church(:scust:) and praying away shyt. That and being ashamed of having mental problems....I was always told that was some white person problems as a kid,and black men are supposed to just man up. My parents didn't believe in ADD, they believed in ass-whoopings,and mental problems being attributed to them being too soft on me. :pachaha:

Surround yourself with positive things. Rid yourself of people that are always hating on you and not supporting you. Listen to more positive music. Read positive books. The more you force positivity into your life, the more you're likely to have a positive attitude. Also force yourself to eat better, workout and accomplish goals. The more you accomplish the better you will feel about yourself.

Yes to the bold. This is why my nephew had to go to jail before anyone thought it might be good for him to see a psychologist and get him medicated. Ridiculous outdated thinking.

Even conservative estimates say psychopaths, narcissists and sociopaths, make up about 1 in 25 people. That is across ALL racial lines. That means there is at least 12 million in the US alone. Add in bi-polars and depressives, you're looking at almost double that.

It's hard to detect because there people are managing it, although some poorly. Most people are self medicating with food and drugs.

Look at Donald Trump, he's the poster child for exactly what narcissistic personality disorder looks like, and yet he's running for the highest office in the world. :snoop:
