My grandparents grew up during Jim Crow
I’ll give them a pass for blindly worshiping the white mans god
Any body young on that tip in 2021 tho :dead:
And the worst imo are the super Christian Africans :scust:
At least my family had knowledge of self stripped from them and got brainwashed
Y’all actually know y’all traditions and still with the white Christian program even after the colonizers left :snoop:

the indoctrination runs deep... theres this african country with judges that still wear white wigs.:francis:
they not trying to quit the bullshyt beliefs and practices imposed by colonialism and slavery.:snoop:

Nobody can answer these. What happens to people that didn't meet Jesus, never introduced to Christianity?
There’s a lot of theological discussion over this. I think the official Catholic doctrine is that righteous people born before Jesus are in the “bosom of Abraham” aka some sort of limbo until the second coming of Jesus. During the three days between after Jesus death and before his resurrection, I believe he is said to have gone down to hades in the “harrowing of hell” and brought back Abraham and some of the other pre-Christian Judaic prophets, but I don’t remember for sure.

plus none of this ever happened anyways and it’s all just an elaborate fairy tale used to keep people in control by a priestly class, but I digress

Man if you don’t get your nikka hating ass out of this thread quoting Malik…… This should be an offense worth banning over
The Autobiography of Malcolm X discusses his opinions on Christianity and his reasons for becoming a member of the NOI at length. Specifically, he thought Christianity was used to keep oppressed people down by convincing them their oppression in this life would be rewarded with a “land of milk and honey” in the afterlife. He joined NOI because it taught knowledge of self.

You’re in this thread talking a lot, but not saying anything, :camby:

There’s nothing wrong with a black person being a Christian but the near-consensus of Christianity in our community is wild :mjlol:

We wanna fight back against slavery and the things forced upon us by white people, but even black militants will bow down the religion masta shoved down your throat

got us eating shytty food, no respect for our bodies, drinking hella liquor

y’all idolize Ali and Malcolm and take their every word as gospel until it comes to the gospel of Europe that was forced upon us

“I’m just practicing what was passed down to me, what my granny preached and her granny even practiced :damn:

yeah well how do you think it came to be that your great great granny became a Christian :mjpls: surely didn’t come with us from Africa :mjpls:

F E A R

That's the answer. Folks are terrified at the idea of going to Hell.

Apply everything Kendrick said in this song to religion. Fear is what drives a lot of our decisions and beliefs. It also helps people cope with their reality. The song is also ironic considering how religious Kendrick is.

I don't know. Can you tell me how it's harming us and preventing us from. Advancing. Especially in a world that is no longer dominated by the old guard. nikkas don't go to church and still here we are. Alleged Shackles off the brain and nikkas is even more insane.
Yes… how could current Christian dogmas negatively impact people… if only there was some massive example… like the pope saying you can’t wear condoms, exacerbating the AIDS crisis in Africa…

Where is that in The Bible. What does that have to do with the Bible.

Maybe your issue is with the pope/catholicism and not Christianity

Everything Catholic leadership
have done gets put on all Christian denominations.
:unimpressed:
Yea, obviously, because Catholicism is by far the largest denomination, damn near a billion of them, with the most money, power, control, and influence over millennia.

but when a very very very small number of Muslims participate in terrorism, y’all the same to immediately portray Islam as violent :camby:

You just asked how does any of that apply in the world today, as if we’ve moved past religions dominating how people live,

Doesn’t matter what denomination, Christian Catholicism is impeding and hurting Africa to this day.
then I point out an example, and you wanna go back to Bible days juelzing.gif

Anyone who can't rationalize or address the historical reason why we became Christians indirectly believes Africans were heathens and barbarians before the white man came

Why would you celebrate and follow a Religion that has ties to our demise as Black people if you do not think that we are in a better situation because of the white man? Black Christians ignore this question because they know they follow this thought process. They secretly believe they are better off that the white man came to Colonize them

They just don't want to come out and say what they are thinking

I mean there is no Christian, there’s followers of the true and living God Yahuah and his son Yahusha (known as Jesus). Christianity is branch of Catholics that go by Protestants. Catholic literally means universal. All of these religions are man made and pagan.

To the brehs that use “white” religion to justify living foul, being prideful and promiscuous, you’re still following something whether you believe or not. At the end of the day enough brehs/brehettes chase white flesh, till it doesn’t seem that serious tbh. There’s a thread on the 1st page trying to find white girls in New York.

Scripture doesn't say you shouldnt protect yourself.

Black atheists are just commies in disguise and the other spiritual beliefs are just a remnant of the last world religion that was destroyed
This guy really hates communism and socialism, then big ups Jesus, a communist pacifist :mjlol:

And scripture literally does say that, turn the other cheek, etc. One of the apostles went to defend Jesus in the garden with a sword, and what did scripture say… “those who live by the bjj, die by the bjj” :umad:

another fake Christian who doesn’t know the Bible sullying the good name of Jesus :scust:

You just seem slow is all. The Bible is Christianity not what the pope said. The pope isn't a religion. The pope isn't in the bible. This is a man who's taken it upon himself to make his own decrees because of his position of authority. You can play dumb and not see the difference.
