I do a warm up/test to see how much I progressed (10-15mins). Then set a stopwatch and do 1min/ 30 sec intervals for any set I workout by the time it hits a hour I burn out completely with push-ups .

The Truth
I can answer that
The gym is a second home to me, and I don't even socialize with anyone.
I like to spend time there, in fact I love it..... when the wife is at home.
When the wife is out I can't wait to finish and get the fukk outta there!!
Honestly, it’s also a way to escape the monotonous, day to day bullshyt too.

I also get to work out stress there while getting my body right.

Instead of drinking or going out to a club on weekdays, I can go hit the gym, go hit the bags to work out anger issues, go do cardio to get the same breathing affect as meditation, etc.

I usually go alone too and at the least busiest times.

Then I come home worn out and get a great nights sleep.

When I was in military, I used to do 2-3 a days just to keep myself busy or stay out of trouble.

Now, I get to keep myself busy, throw on a audio book, discover new music, etc. Go hit the sauna (when it was open), work on stretches, meet people in certain classes, catch some eye candy checking me out, etc.

Let people live. Only thing I dislike is crowds ad people hogging equipment

Yep Discover new music is a huge one for me.
I actually discovered Killah Priest in the gym, got back into some Bobby Brown… I killed Humping Around at the gym.

it really is a great escape, & you get to catch up on other things too while working out

What the hell y’all be doing. It don’t take that long to workout. My routine is, I get in that bytch and hit them barbells for like 10 minutes.

Stopped reading right there. :unimpressed:

If that works for you, cool, I can just barely do my warm-up sets in 10 minutes. The first main barbell lift (squat, bench, dead, press) is taking me 30-70 minutes just by itself, depending it on how it's programmed.
:yeshrug:

If that works for you, then by all means. Imma continue to workout for more than an hour though. :hubie:
