People don’t get along but very few communities commit these kinds of atrocities against people that look like them at the rate that we do.

Random Cacs may randomly shoot up a school or some shyt like that, but you don’t have Cacs regularly shooting up their BBQs and killing kids and then glorifing it. You don’t see that with the Asians. Maybe some latinos but the black man is the biggest victim of violent crime in this country by far.

I think the media sensationalize this to make it more than it is. I'm not saying it doesn't happen at all but its mainly concentrated to the hood areas and mostly if you're involved in that bs. If you're not you're good. People online make it seem like,of,you goto. A block party its just shootouts all the time and that's not the case at all.

Being the type of person that i am im sure i could move there and not get into any bullshyt.

Its Dumb shyt happening in my own town that im oblivious to because i stay in my Lane. nikkas kicking in Doors for Dope money don't concern me.

Already, I know of Jacksonville, my cousin in the Navy was stationed out there. I see Palatka is in the boonies and that may be why you feel that way. You’d have to be off in the cut like that and off to yourself if you moved down South to escape violence. Even then, small towns in Arkansas like Stuttgart, Osceola, Hope, Elaine, Parkin, and the like are just as bad, if not worse than the bigger cities.

I feel you and I would hope that you wouldn’t get caught up, but these are shootings in public places (Schools, Malls, Concerts, Hotels, Parks, Gas Stations, Apartments, Casinos, etc), many are random, and people tend to get caught in crossfire when they’re just going about their day. Most of those are people that didn’t have any ties to the street.

edit: This one was almost as bad as the Chicago shooting in the OP smh. More people shot, less dead though. I just want folks to know the South is not as laidback as you would think.
