Some people are just HORRIBLE with managing money, to them 80k a year is no different then 30k a year, they will piss it away.

I know someone that makes 75-80k a year, Has less then 1200 a month in bills, has to wait for paychecks simple shyt like cigarettes. Doesn't do drugs, and doesnt buy ANYTHING expensive, literally has nothing to show for it.Always broke, waiting for that check, can never come on vacation with us cause he got no money even 4 months ahead of time with a heads up.

I can understand being broke if -

1. You have a really low-paying job (like under $10/hr)
2. You have child support/alimony eating up half your check automatically
3. You have a bunch of kids or have to take care of sick/elderly relatives


But if you're not in any of those situations and you're broke, then you're probably living beyond your means. Either you're living in a house /apartment that you can't afford, pushing a whip you can't afford, or spending too much money on bullshyt (ie. clothes, simping, etc.).

People don't kno how to budget. I only make about 50k a year after taxes but I put aside money each check that I never touch. I set aside a little for spending and if that's out than Im "broke". If theres some left over the save it.
