My job...we went from getting guaranteed 30 hours to being cut down to fukking 12 hours....

They ended implementing a new system where we do the work that used to take 8 hours and they wanted us to do it in 3 hours...on $9/hr

The area where I live is garbage for jobs too(Atlantic City area) ..which is why i'm leaving this bullshyt state but that is another topic.

Get a trade breh. Was in the same predicament my entire 20's for the most part. I'm 29 now and I feel old as fukk because of all this shyt i've dealt with working these low level jobs. I'm going to school and that's all that matters to me at the moment is finishing up as soon as possible. Just take a trade in whatever and go around applying. That's the best advice I wish I could have given my 19 year old self 10 years ago. Would be making DOUGH right now had i gotten this cert sooner but it's good.

Some people are just HORRIBLE with managing money, to them 80k a year is no different then 30k a year, they will piss it away.

I know someone that makes 75-80k a year, Has less then 1200 a month in bills, has to wait for paychecks simple shyt like cigarettes. Doesn't do drugs, and doesnt buy ANYTHING expensive, literally has nothing to show for it.Always broke, waiting for that check, can never come on vacation with us cause he got no money even 4 months ahead of time with a heads up.

I know there are poor people, but I'm specifically referring to cats who are able bodied and have decent jobs. If you got a decent gig, how in the hell do you allow yourself to be in a position where you can tell someone "I'm broke"?

Now for me, if I say "I'm broke", that means that I don't have any discretionary income that I want to spend. That doesn't mean that I have ZERO dollars. I ALWAYS have money saved for emergencies or whatever else. but I have heard plenty of otha nikkas/women claim that they have no money til they get paid for instance. how do you allow yourself to live so hand to mouth? how can you be comfortable NOT having jack shyt in case some shyt goes down?? totally irresponsible.

160-200 in spring/fall with NO heat/air

bout 300-400 in summer with the a/c on 76

some people don't budget shyt... i make 60k.. after taxes and medical, dental, vision, 401k... my check is about 1500 every two weeks (i claim zero to get more money at the end of the year)

3000 or so a month.. some months i'll get a third check... but that's only 39 AFTER taxes.. and i can and will upload a paycheck if you don't believe me


well after rent (850), water (80 every 2 months), phone (100), car (400, just got a new one 600 now), insurance (175), electric (round number like 250, usually higher in winter), shyt like gas and food for the month (lets say 200 in monthly groceries, 200 in gas), credit card (put down 100 a month), adt ($60), internet ($80)

we at like 400-500 a month...


now i didn't go to school.. i can easily see money being taken for that... a kid.... good luck... a wife and a kid... might as well quit working


and we haven't even got to normal shyt like haircuts, clothes, a pair of shoes, go on a date, eat at mcdonalds for a 8 dollar large number 1, doing anything fun, having something go wrong and needing the extra money, gamefly, netflix, cable, etc etc etc



and you'd easily have "nothing to show for it" especially if you not writing that shyt down like i just did.. and you just swiping that card everytime, not paying any attention to your funds
