I kept that up for years fam, YEARS. But I fell off, wife lost her job while she was pregnant and you start doing sh!t like paying bills w your visa, and do that for a couple months and you get into a hole that perpetuates itself. I havent' been trying to get back to even as hard as I should. My credit cards are just another bill now. I have dreams of being back at Zero, but that's all they'll be for a while, dreams lol

That money I tricked off all summer could have went towards getting out of debt, but :yeshrug:
Gonna get better tho.
Sounds like u were in an emergency...... no biggies man. Just gotta rein it in when times are good.

Know a few people who are like this. Will be too broke to eat but I'll see them doing something or too broke for life but will tell me about their exploits at the casino :stopitslime:

Worst is you loan them some money and they say they are broke. But steady buying new shyt.

People just don't get it...
You can't stay rich (or get rich) by spending stupid money on stupid things.
I drive a paid off vehicle with 300K+ on the engine and tranny...all in top shape though due to keen maintenance over the years.
No student loans for me, college wasn't all it seemed. Doing better than most I know without a degree (Thank you Jesus!).
Credit score is :krs: too!
Fine ass wife, smart kid, nice home.
I'm good.

How's everyone's savings looking with Q3 coming to an end soon?
The savings acct is lookin' deceptively sweet right now.

Typically, I take the surplus from my savings (I keep only enough for emergencies & big ticket items) & invest it in the market every quarter. I've been holdin' off in preparation for another investment. Good thing, as my stocks took a hit along with the market, and those loses would be permenant if I needed to tap those funds.
