Who's asking the question?

The answer from black people to black people is empowerment. If we feel valued and take care of ourselves and each other, violence will dissipate. We've done it before. Had black towns and cities that were great. White people didn't like that one bit.

White people don't want us going around feeling empowered, proud of ourselves, being happy. Feeling as if we can exist without them, that answer is already a no for them.

Not just exist but PROSPER. Because they were fine with us having all black communities and towns when we were sharecroppers (one step below slavery tbh) and laborers who still had to rely on white dollars for income. It wasn't until we were able to sustain ourselves in a fairly closed-loop system and actually thrive that it became an issue.
