I had to google this to see what it was from,its a long but really great read. You always get such a clearer and better understanding of white supremacy by studying the architects. This is a regional issue, and it’s time that we begin acknowledging that some black people are not like other black people. That distinction rests not solely at the feet of black people, either. There are areas in America where Republicans have fostered an environment fertile for the kind of barbarism we are witnessing, promoting the proliferation of guns, removing any safety nets that address the economic distress at the heart of this problem.

This violence that plagues segments of our community is NOT happening in Boston. Yes, as is the case in every hood, there’s violence. But, in predominantly black neighborhoods in Boston, you don’t see the alarming rate of violence that occurs in a Chicago or St. Louis or New Orleans or Dallas or any other city infamous for black people murdering each other in high numbers.
