Yeah, they give you extra money if you live in on-base housing. Taking money out for living in dorms is some new shyt. They didn't take anything out when I was stationed in Cali. I just stacked ALL that loot.

In the AF if youre not an NCO yet and single, or not a Below the Zone E4 , you cant live off of base so they take your BAH and force you to live in the dorms.

if yourea grown man with a career and trying to enlist for money, youre a complete dumbass

Honestly commissioning for money is stupid too. You really aint making "good money" in the military until youre an NCO or a O-3.

Please, for the love of God, don't be THAT guy that cops a fukking charger with 25% interest. nikkas think they can afford that shyt until they get hit with that first insurance payment:wow:.

Then the actual car note comes in 3 days later:pachaha:.

Meanwhile, Airman Oscar did the smart thing and went to a reputable dealer to buy a used 2016 Corolla for $12,000 out-the-door with 60k on it; and that was after he read the reviews for the dealer and car, calculated the cost of insurance and the actual note, AND then took it for a couple test drives before purchasing:wow:.

And this. Hell, I remember that I was only making $550 per paycheck as an E-1 back in 2018. I just made E-4, and my pay is up to $900 sans my food allowance, which pushes it up to like $1200.

Op, if you can go officer, you need to take that shyt immediately. fukk the money, just the prestige and quality of life is enough. Enlisted get treated like shyt from E-1 to E-6. Well, at least in the Navy...

With the way things are currently in the world, I wouldn't enlist just because the risk of war is too high.

You are better off going to get your degree, IMO.

As a O-3, single with no dependents, BAH and BAS excluded, thats the first rank youre hovering at 60k. That balling to you?

Even with BAH and BAS, alotta Officer AFSC's pay better in civilian life.

How many percentage of people in US make over 60k yearly ? No student over here too.

OP says he has a career already. If he's making 40-45k, theres no way id tell him to join the military for 60k he'd make 4 years into his officer career. the money aint that good
