He's playing pretty much to his normal averages and advanced metrics seem to indicate the Magic are a better team without him on the court.

Maybe he's a guy that needs a pure PG to feed him the ball in his spots and they try to go that route

They need a lead ball handler and split up Paolo/Franz. Like everyone else, I'd ship out Paolo for whatever I could get and keep Franz since they play better with him.

Their cap situation is hideous because they were giving everybody crazy extensions. I think Harden would be a great stop gap for them but I don't know how they would acquire him. Suggs for Harden in a sign-and-trade does make sense for both teams to an extent...but Suggs makes so much money and Cleveland is also capped out.

I'm not sure what they would have left to offer OKC for Ajay Mitchell. Take a hail mary on Scoot? Could probably make a run at Jrue as well.

Not a horrible idea. IMO Scoot still has a ton of talent, but he's just like Franz and Suggs, can't shoot and can't stay healthy.

Paolo doesn't rebound, defend, pass, set screens. All he does is play inefficient 1 on 1 basketball

Grizzlies need to rebuild and got to hit the salary floor regardless. Banchero might figure it out, the talent is there. Look at Cade as an example of a kid where the talent was there and he figured it out. Personally I think he a second option, who needs to realize that, but considering the shyt show the grizzlies are about to be I think they should take him.
