There are plenty of dudes that mess with each other nowadays.smh. Its just not as big as you would expect especially considering how many units Bay Area artists move.

In Miami, bubbling ATL acts come to town and do big shows. Its not the same between LA and the Bay and thats coming from the artists mouths. I watched the Bay catch its 2nd wind since 04. I got plenty of fam out there thats key players in the Bay industry that I been rocking with for 10+ years.

Atlanta nikkas what do you guys do that East Coast or West Coast or some Southern places don't ? i keep hearing new nikkas like Cool Amerika, Johnny Cinco, etc.

Its a mixture of several things but its mostly Support

- Hip Hop stations support local artist. The majority of the music played on Atlanta radio is from Atlanta artist. Radio stations here like 94.5 and 107.9 take pride in breaking new artist.
- Nightclubs/Strip Clubs support local artist and strip clubs help break new artist. If your song is hot in the strip club it will eventually move to the nightclubs and then to the radio
- Once a song blows up in Atlanta the surrounding cities start playing it and eventually it blows up
- Big named rappers put on smaller named rappers. Most rappers want to be the biggest rapper in their city so they might not sign rappers from their city because they want to stay on top
- All the big name producers are here and they are always looking to break new artist
- Lots of people visit Atlanta and when they come here and hear a song over and over when they go back to their hometown they talk about that particular song
- Generally speaking most rappers support other rappers here

LA nikkas always been collabing with Bay nikkas all the way back to Too Short, that doesn't change that LA fans for the most part do not follow Bay Area rap outside of the biggest artists like too short.

If anything, the only big overlap between our scene and LA's scene is the backpack scene... Hiero, Living Legends, etc. always had members and fanbases from both regions.
