That's Nas inviting Durk to be on his album. I don't know if it works the same with an artist like Jay that isn't dropping albums. Linkin Park had members producing for Hip Hop acts and being featured on Hip Hop albums after Collision Course. Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park dropped a Hip Hop album. That mash up with Jay was their gateway into Hip Hop. Jay wasn't even dropping albums when that came out.

Biggie and Jay were friends.

Only points you MIGHT have is R. Kelly and Coldplay, but you'd also have to keep the same energy for other rappers who worked with them.
