In what way has Gucci surpassed TI, Ross & Jeezy as a GOAT?
If anything he might had outlasted them but Gucci at no point was better than those 3. I like Gucci's music but going to prison for those 3 years might had been the best thing to happen to him because before that he was ice cold dropping mixtapes that only die hard fans checked for.
That blind support from white hipsters also helped him.
Now there's no denying his impact on Atlanta of discovering hot talent that went on to became stars. Gucci is a better A&R than he is rapper and should be at the level with the Jay Z's, Birdmans etc but he's not.
Like i said I like his music and he is most def a legend but musically I think he"s behind those guys.

Nope...but I can name 3 Gucci tapes i'd rather listen to than any album by Tip, Jeezy or Ross.
Jeezy or Ross ain't never said nothin' worth repeating, Tip is aight but was never great.

Gucci doesnt have a classic RETAIL/studio album, anybody can admit to that, but if we go to then mixtapes, the shyt that has been his sticking point, the nikka EASILY has just as many if not classic tapes and or songs as Ross, Jeezy, and TIP (TIP dont really do full length mixtapes).
And to not downplay his studio albums either cause he does have some very good tapes. He just never allows his retail albums to breathe cause he always will follow em up almost immediately with another album or mixtape

As a Gucci fan I can honestly say he never has and never will make anything as good as TM101. Gucci’s consistency is also overrated because he drops like 10 tapes a year.
