fukk is nikkas smoking in here, Big Boi? Rick Ross

Stankonia is 4x Platinum and Speakerboxx/Love Below is Diamond (10x Diamond), at no point was Rick Ross even multi platinum. Try harder breh. Not to mention Big Boi and/or Outkast are hip hop icons, able to be mentioned with the Nas's and Jay Z's and Pac's. Rick Ross has never been placed on that level by the streets nor by any accredited hip hop magazine or venue of any sort.

My wife is from the A....

Lil Jon’s crunk movemet began at the tail end of OutKasts run. Outkast began to slow down in 2003. Jon and them were making crazy noise.

Their movement was mainstream and arguably global. Get Low was and still is crazy. As far as the sound, it was mainstream well before T.I.’s second album

You’re blending movements.

Like I said I’m from Atlanta myself born and raised. Get low came out mid 2002. Before then lil Jon had who you wit and bia bia and that’s about it. Please believe that 24s and never scared dominated Atlanta along with damn after OutKast. Ask anybody from this site who really from Atlanta and I’m sure they will tell you the same. T.i. Dominated 2002 in Atlanta the in the streets series, never scared, 24s, that killer mike new new song. Trap music was just the icing on the cake, he even was the one who really popped off the gangster grills shyt not 2 far after that.

Lol you’re contradicting yourself. Your initial stance was mainstream, now you’re telling me as a native he was heavier in the streets in 2002 than Jon and the Eastside Boyz who had already broken on the scene in 2001?

I named their most known hit that dropped in 2003 but as a native you're aware that their crunk movement was already in the mainstream well before 2003...

Was ti heavier in the streets than lil Jon in 2002? nikka hell yeah. Even had puff and the source praising in the streets part 2, it’s a reason puff was tryna sign him was in the rubber band man video with mike Vick. That nikka tip was the streets in Atlanta in 2002, probably more than Jeezy was in 05 honestly. Like I said I watched it in real time. nikkas selling out of bootleg copies of trap music well before it was out to the point tip was asking nikkas to beat bootleggers ass on mixtapes.

Tip might’ve flopped with I’m serious but dope boyz gave that nikka a crazy city wide buzz after 2001

And I am aware that crunk was already a thing but it wasn’t synonymous with Atlanta til around 2003. All that shyt came together around the same time. It took on a life of its own after get low and salt shaker

Lies. Jeezy had multiple municipalities banning Snowman tshirts, TIP was never bigger than Jeezy in the streets

More lies, crunk was ALWAYS synonomous with Atlanta, and after Bia Bia came out crunk went nationwide

Yeah it was a thing. What crunk rappers were making noise like that? It even took lil Jon a sec for bia bia to pop and that cd eventually went gold after they pretty much packaged the first two albums together
