I have to disagree with you. He was good on The Infamous, but on HOE he was just in a whole other zone. No verse that he spit on Murda Muzik can compare to that second verse on Front Lines or his verse on Apostle's Warning. The only memorable P verse I can remember from that album is his verse on Allustrious, but I haven't listened to that album in a while. MM wasn't that good from what I remember.
say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
allustrious. quiet storm (nikka single-handedly started the "extra long chain" phase with half a bar). where ya heart at. what's ya poison. murda muzik. where u from. adrenaline (featuring a top 10 all-time P verse).
i could go on and on.
as a lyricist, p was phenomenal on HOE. he took that shyt to another level on MM. it's the perfect balance of lyrical p and the "throw a tv at u" crazy-talk P that would pop up later.
"it makes u sick/to hear the mobb bang like this/infamous for the world to hate or play this/could give a fukk if u cant rock to this/my dunn's heads bop to this"
"Im not blowin off rounds/so you can hear sounds/so u can run back actin like u a vet/and swear on ya dead, u survived some real shyt..."
p was weak on MM???
