Obviously the biggest change for me (born in '86) is the development of the Internet and cellular phone technology.

No HD, no Youtube, social network sites didn't exist no smart phones, being homophobic didn't even cause people to bat an eye, pre 9/11 era where no one really gave a shyt about the Middle East/terrorists and cheap gas are the main things that really stand out about my earlier life thinking back
Some things changed for the worst in the long run, some things changed for the better in the long run

-The TV channels would just stop after midnight or so. Then you would have that rainbow screen.
-Scrambled up porn on whatever channel it was. If you were lucky, you might catch a clear glimpse of a tit :lolbron:
- MTV actually played lots of music videos.
-Used to order videos on "the box".
- kids used to play "tag"/ "freeze tag".
- I used to have a "Co-Card" from the rec so that I could get on the bus for cheap.
-If you wore brands like "Guess" or "PePe" you were the shyt.
-Beepers were like iphones today.
-Most cars were still made of metal.
-You actually had to buy your music from the store, or record it on cassette.

as a baby of the very early 80s...

black sitcoms went from inspiring to embarassing...

the crack era came and went...

The Cold War ended

life before the internet was just completely different...

cell phones and social media changed relationships completely
