To me, my board!
I think the general public still doesn't take wrestling serious. Y'all remember how many brehs came up in here on that "Y'all nikkas still watch wrestling?" tip when we got that main forum push?
Because professional wrestling still has a stigma w/ most mainstream folks, and the people actually involved in the industry generally don't have a lot of ingenuity.
Probably will happen eventually, though. They make television shows about everything.

No. The first sentence is why that HBO logo aint going nowhere near a wrestling show.

" in sneaker related threads, just because they don't. .. They want their opinion/preference to be fact. True, good points all around. There's always gonna be an "elitist" or a try hard, those are the same folks who post "yall nikkas still collect Jordan's" in sneaker related threads, just because they don't. .. They want their opinion/preference to be fact.
I dunno how much weight you can put on the general public though especially with social media telling people what's cool or what to care about. There's a LOT of closet former wrestling fans out there. Look how many wrestling related gifs and memes go flying
People are sheep by nature with what they'll watch. If a wrestling themed show got hot as a Netflix original for instance, a few slick hashtags and memes the same people coming in making jokes would be keeping tabs on the show as well.

add A Mark Fan to that and you're goldenBecause vince would probably sue and because people syill have a carny interpretation of it
Something along the lines as the wrestler as like a 16 episode mini series would be fire
Id rather it be like two stories, one of a wrestler dealing with his onscreen character and how it affects his off screen life and vice versa with politics, drug use, booking etc.
And the second main character being a shiesty/slick tslking promoter trying to get by business wise, put out the best product, back stabbing talent, other promoters, etc.
A paul heyman style character with like a paul Giamatti as the promoter
An aging star who joins the jndy company in an attempt to salvage his career and bring up a new company to rival the big show aka wwe faux company with like a healthy in shape hugh jackman as a terrt funk via ecw or mickey Rourke in the wrestler type
Maybe a young guy to play the charismatic kid whose trying to make it in to the bigger promotion but they ignore him played by like donald glover
Add a diva who is a ring rat but dates the promoter in order to stay relevant etc.
Mix in a few other characters and you got show
I just want to know what actress gonna show dem thangs as they play Missy Hyatt?![]()
I think im gonna do a fan fiction based on this idea for the forum

Something like this needs to be made. Put it on AMC, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Only problem I see is getting former wrestling stars to be consultants for the show. Damn near every living star of the last 30 years has some type of contract with the WWE and you know Vince ain't trying to have a show loosely based on him and his company.
