So it sounds like there's a lot more to the line then just "Nacho Cheese I'm Castro". You should probably edit your sig to include the next few lines. You would agree that they relate to the "I'm Castro" part right? To not include them is misleading dont you think?
The thread was about somebody's claim that the second verse of D'Evils was the GOAT verse. My recollection is that at the end of the day the only leg you had to stand on was the nitpicking about unroll vs. unfold. I showed the brilliance of the rest of the verse over your attempts to claim that you didn't understand.

He said he didn't claim to be the best. But he also said he mastered everybody else's shyt. It is what it is.

You didnt show any brilliance in it. I explained to you that it didnt make sense and was pseudo smart dumb nicca shyt and you went on to say that naS' fans dont understand the words he uses (like scroll) so its okay that naS' usage of it is incorrect. The entire verse is garbage.
I explained how his use of "stampede" is incorrect, even though I know what he was trying to say, he doesnt say it, and as phrased it is nonsensical. The entire verse is the nicca trying to use words that make no sense in the context he uses them, only his fans arent smart enough to know it OR they simply make up meanings for the incoherent ramblings.

That's fair. You did also nitpick the choice of the word stampede. But I showed how stampeding makes sense and you backed off that point. Go back and read the thread.
I don't recall any other examples from that verse of his words not making sense.
Also - you still need to correct your sig. You are misquoting Nas to discredit him. That is a cowardly and dishonest way to debate. Confront his lyrics head on if you think they're bad.

Its not nitpicking, he uses words absolutely WRONG. that is POOR writing period. Even if you know what he means. The ENTIRE verse is like that PLUS incoherent. Its fake smart shyt, only as you stated, naS fans dont know the difference.
My point was neither does he, because he was a Jr high drop out. In a couple years, my 10 year old will have been through more schooling than naS has and will have more actual education than this nicca. Once you realize that, then it starts to make sense why his writing is so poor on illmatic and in his early verses. To his credit he got MUCH better.

its quite simple. No matter how YOU feel or understand the line, when you say "unfold" a scroll, you have made no sense, because scrolls arent unfolded. You seem to not understand that simple fact. Itd be like if I said I cooked food in the refrigerator. You may simply assume that I meant stove, and still understand that I cooked food, but that doesnt change the fact that what I wrote makes no fukcin sense.

You fail to even understand that we cant see his spelling and punctuation in songs, but we can hear the words. Words that he uses incorrectly. When you use words incorrectly the only result is to not make sense. Just because you make excuses for it doesnt mean naS is making sense when he spits that non-sense.
