Thinking back i dont really remember DBZ episodes as a Kid, i just remember watching it.
I remember Dragon Ball, Goku flying on Nimbus, him running around looking for Dragon Balls
In GT when he turned into a child and Baby Vegeta

It brings back the nostalgia of buying the $5 tapes on Fulton street off nevins in downtown Brooklyn after high school.
The characters remind me of the everyday struggles of being African American, stronger and far superior than white ppl and they would fear me because my melanin, ancestors and skills makes me otherworldly.

White ppl were like Frieza (gay white lizards that hiss when they talk). They tried to kill or enslave us all and there's a few c00ns like Vegeta that we have to bring back to our side to let them know where we stand.

I was just thinking about this the other day too. I remember being 8 years old going crazy when that Budokai 1 commercial dropped back in 02. I'm 23 years old now and here I am watching Super. My kids could very well be watching Dragon Ball when they're grow up. That shyts crazy to think about.
