No he’s not he just got a baritone ass voice

Jay has way more flows can go fast can go slow has found the pocket in even the ugliest beats and he’s a more complex rhymer

Jay can't never flow like biggie on one more chance or warning. Jay can never tell stories like on gimmie the loot or everyday struggle.
The fast flow never impressed me. There's a reason Jay has slow down is flow after biggie and nas dropped and not the other way around. And biggie on notorious thugs was sick with it. I always thought Jay was like a cat rhyming a little bit off then landing on his feet. Biggies voice, charismatic and punchline are more potent. When you hear young gz you see the difference. The only thing I can put Jay above is the complexity of Jay's personna. In reasonable doubt he constructed a interesting character that he eventually lost after a couples of albums

Stomachlines back with the repititve, flabby threads :lolbron:

RD is up there with Big's albums and he had more longevity by 25 years

He's also a better MC

The question is how the hell can Biggie still be ranked over Jay Z

RD wasn't praised in 96' like it is now. That is a fact.

RD is a good album but it's not on the same level as Biggie's albums

Jay-Z is not a better emcee than Biggie

Biggie had a better voice, Biggie had a better cadence when rhyming, Biggie was a better storyteller, etc etc

It's about the quality of work, not the quantity.

Biggie mastered his art with 2 albums and the second album was a double album :wow:

Jay-z has better bars. Way better wordplay. Has 1000 flows/pockets he can rhyme in effortlessly. Better delivery, imo.

Biggie having a better rap voice is a fact, Biggie has one of the dopest rap voices ever and Jay-z has a weak one. Biggie was just way more raw/gritty in general than Jay-z, from content to tone, etc... Jay-z the better rapper tho, technically.

Jay has different flows but the flows don't always sound good, like they don't always sound in rhythm with the beat that he's rhyming over.

With Biggie, the way he would flow and his cadence along with his voice and the way he pronounced some of his words, added to his unique talent.
