And you are going to choose criteria that favour Master Ace or your other favourite MC's

No. I count every relevant factor, or at least everything pertaining to Hiphop artists. Album sales DO matter, but they are only one category. Longevity, Wordplay, Flow, Content, Impact, Influence, Sales, Catalogue. All these things matter. And Ace trumps Hammer in almost everything.

But Albums sales are FREE of personal bias...You can't be Top 10 if your albums sales are mediocre...

Why not? And what counts a mediocre? Frankly, I've always considered merely having ONE platinum album is enough to be in the conversation. Keep in mind the game has changed as Hiphop grew and shrank in the main stream.

Also, you know what else is free of personal bias? Years in the game. Number of Albums made. Number of songs made. How many different styles they have used. Number of artists they worked with. etc. Ace trumps Hammer in all of these. Do you have a case for Hammer outside of album sales and popularity?

Hardcore rappers like 2Pac, DMX, 50 Cent sold albums...Album sales reflect how much the fan base thinks your music is worth buying...

How can you be Top 10 when only a small minority even know about your career...?

Incorrect. Album sales reflect how many people were willing to financially support that project. Countless people have purchased albums and didn't like them. Does the mere purchase mean the like the album? Certainly not.

Hammer had a lot of people, fans I call them, that supported his music at first and he lost nearly ALL of those fans. Ace has never had the number of fans Hammer had, but has always had a more consistent number of loyal fans willing to support him and keep his career going, Hammer cannot say the same.

Plenty of people know about Ace, they are called Hiphop fans. Hammer never actually had a strong core of Hiphop fans, he had fad jumpers that left him the second he got cold. How can you be top 10 when you don't even have enough fans to support your career?

I never thought of those as group albums. The INC was a sound that featured Ace prominently up front. Kendrick Lamar has more features than an INC album.

The reason he isn't a GOAT is because he simply isn't a GOAT. He is terrific though. Slaughterhouse stands up next to any album from 1993 easily. It's actually better than Souls Of Mischief's album.

exactly, not every great rapper HAS to be in a top 10 discussion or any of that shyt

Special Ed has a very wack album though.

I judge Ace fans by their stance on Slaughterhouse vs. disposable arts

How? I spoke to Joell Ortiz and he gives dap to Ace big time.....

He trashed Mike Jones and Chamillionaire something vicious though :usherlol:

There's a group of MC's that I I'll always hold highly just strictly based on their duration and consistency, Ace is definitely in that group.

Masta Ace and also Chubb Rock are two artists I feel are top ten that people just forget about for some reason

Take a look around was my shhhhiiitttt back in the day and he never ever fell off or dropped anything wack

His legacy lives on in Eminem and Royce Da 5'9' (anybody else noticed they sound just alike)
Yup Ace is just a slowed down version of them
