Sure thing cock snot. No need to be snide. If a Paula perry feature and a posse cut with eyce u rock are your idea of a group then sheeit. You bout as doofy as I thought.

THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!!!
You're right Dunn, you're always right. I don't know what I was thinking. I mean Lord Digga doesn't even exist and Ace was ridin solo from 88 to the present day. I think I smoked to much of this green today.

I'm just fukkin with you hamie, most people would consider those to be Masta Ace albums. Still, he would have been better off specifically building himself as a solo artist during that time, especially since he stopped fukking with the other members of the group

Well, IMO, Ace was the original MF Doom or Sean Price in that he totally reenergized his flailing solo career with a out of no where revamped second act that was Masta Ace Inc. he thrust himself right into the mix as tastemaker. That slaughterhouse album was so next level smart. Lotta precursors to Wu, Gravediggas etc.

Then he went and switched it again on sittin on chrome.

That run was borderline brilliant. Disposable Arts is the Ace album cacs in college liked.

universal bangers count but one can be influential without them and still get that top 10 co sign. kool g rap ain't got no universal bangers yet he's often considered a top 10 emcee and rightfully so
don't know what masta ace albums sales look like but everythin' that sells ain't great. emcees like rakim, kool g rap, and scarface are 3 some of the most influential emcees of all time yet they don't do jay z numbers. so sometimes the influence isn't always shown in numbers
as for other rappers mentionin' him, sure they do. everybody knows masta ace was a huge influence eminem. eminem recognized him at the 2001 grammy awards

(1) If you want Master Ace to be in your PERSONAL Top 10 then let him be....If you want him to be in the GENERALIZED hip hop top 10, then he simply can't be...Why...?

(2) The ONLY objective criteria is album sales and/or touring power...Everything else is just opinion, and people chose which criteria they want for their favourite MCs...

(3) Influence DOES NOT mean that you GOAT candidate...Any rapper who has ever trended has subsequently influenced the game...Lil Jon, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Chief Keef, Lil Reese and some others have been the most influential rappers (that most fans don't consider as GOAT candidates) in the past few years...

A "wack" rapper can have a BIG influence on the game, if he is popular...Hip Hop follows successful trends...Thus, influence is related to popularity...And Master Ace was never that popular, relatively speaking...

There was never a time when Master Ace was THAT RAPPER that hip hop in GENERAL was talking about....MC Hammer deserves a Top 10 spot before Master Ace...

I never thought of those as group albums. The INC was a sound that featured Ace prominently up front. Kendrick Lamar has more features than an INC album.

The reason he isn't a GOAT is because he simply isn't a GOAT. He is terrific though. Slaughterhouse stands up next to any album from 1993 easily. It's actually better than Souls Of Mischief's album.

I've never met anyone who thought it was a group album either. That's him through and through.

He should be very proud of his catalog even if he doesn't get to be apart of Internet top 10 debates. :troll:

Before Rae had the purple tape Ace had the yellow tape. I still have mine with the song titles barely legible from how much I used to play it

People who consider those Masta Ace albums group albums and not solo albums are being crazy. That's like calling Criminal Minded and By All Means and Edutainment group albums. Yeah it's under the name BDP but they're all KRS solo albums really.
