How is Wale's new album only projected to sell only 23k-27k? What is he doing wrong?

I thought his hit single "On Chill" would help tremendously with his streaming numbers. Also thought old songs like Black Bonnie and Poledance with Megan Thee Stallion would boost the sales too. Why isn't his music connecting with the Hip Hop audience today? I swear I thought he was guaranteed to do 100k+ with this album. Whole industry was praising this album on Friday and he was getting praised on Twitter by fans but the sales don't seem to back it up. As a fan of Wale I hate seeing these numbers because I know deep down he's :mjcry: seeing these projections.

Its because Wale doesnt have any star quality or X Factor to him. He's just a pretty good rapper with an extremely regular perspective. Top that off with the fact that he has a totally over inflated view of himself and you have an artist who won't be able to have enough perspective on himself to adjust to the message reality is sending him. Its sad but it happens everyday :yeshrug:
