Don't do it. It's an expensive habit that turns your body to shyt. You shouldn't drink to numb yourself to what's hurting and bothering you. You should be drinking to celebrate a job well done, a major accomplishment, or to celebrate those of a good friend. You always want to enter your drunk space under happy circumstances. It sounds corny, but people always prefer the "I luv u" guy over the "I hate you/I'm depressed" guy.

That was my exact policy for years. Only drink to celebrate not sulk. Then I had some bad stuff go down and started trying to drink away the pain and start drinking all the time with large amounts. I got to the point of the hsakes if I went a day or two without. I eventually quit cold turkey for three months and after that started drinking in moderation. Haven't had much of a problem since then.

Yeah I never drink away problems, I`ve done that before, for a night but that's it.

I`m notorious for being the "I love you" drunk.

It's amazing what a difference it can make. I was mad violent and always trying to start shyt when drinking while angry or down. When I was drinking to celebrate or just to have a good time I've been blackout drunk and as happy go lucky as possible. I would always be worried wondering if I pissed somebody off and everybody would just talk about how much fine I was and how crazy the night was.

the withdrawls breh :sadbron:
makes it hard to quit turkey, need to cut back so your body has SOMETHING in it's system. that makes it easier.
that's my problem :to:

Yeah, you can actually die from alcohol withdrawal if it's bad enough. Best bet is probably to drink the bare minimum you need to avoid the shakes. But if you're really an alcoholic you'll probably drink too much, so best to contact a doctor or rehab program.

but yo...i'm assuming most of you are daily smokers. Hear me out. We all know alcohol has more harmful effects than smoking and leads to more deaths when people are dumb, but how can you smoke everyday and tell someone who drinks often to get drunk that they're wrong? I don't smoke but I'll come home from classes and yeah i'm drinking. I'm not gettin behind the wheel...beating my girl...so what's the difference? Do you smoke just to celebrate? Nah you smoke to get high because you like the feeling of being high, I like being drunk.

You better stop soon or else you could die... that's if you're literally drinking everyday. I did it once for 8 days straight when I was like 19... crazy times. Now that I'm 24 I can only drink once or twice in a week and not for two days straight cause the hangover is gonna be killing me. I've really been wanted to quit or lower my drinking as the hangovers hits me really hard (Can't do anything the next day and sometimes even the day after). I've been a weekend drinker since I was 17-18... and the only thing I could tell you is that drinking is great but if fukks with your routine as it does with mine, quit.
