is drinking a tallboy everyday, maybe 2 on fridays after work being an ahcoholic?

Na I don't think so I use to drink a 40 everyday and then on weekends drink a little heavier that was a long time ago and never had issues. It's when you start binging ridiculously when you start having issues. Like driniking for 2 days straight non stop massive amounts of alcohol.

If you've been getting blackout drunk for two weeks straight you're just not going to be able to stop on your own.The withdrawal is going to be too much for you handle. If it's an option I would say check yourself into a facility to help you get over the initial stages of quitting.

That's just my opinion though. Whatever you do just make sure you stop it now before the problem gets even worse.

You think he should go to rehab because he played an alcoholic for two weeks? :what:

Just because you drink every night for short amount of time does not mean you're addicted. It has a lot to do with why you're drinking and how it affects you and your life. If it significantly negatively affects your life, like getting in the way of other things, you are probably an alcoholic.

A lot of college age people drink a lot and binge, it doesn't make them alcoholics.

I dont understand how one can even drink after getting black out drunk the night before.

ANYTIME I ever drink heavy enough to have a hangover, it makes me NOT wanna drink for days to at least a week.

lately, just the mere thought of having a hangover is enough to make me not wanna drink at all.

I agree. I had a stepfather who could drink 24/7 days a week and I don't get it either. I don't know how he does it. When I (binge) drink, I need at least 5 days to cool off. That dude can do it for months at a time. It's just like :ohhh: to me.
