I don't really get heavy soreness unless I go on vacation and don't lift for like 1-2 weeks. Then the day after I'll be a bit sore but nothing crazy.
I’m new so maybe that’s why?

My arms don’t hurt as bad anymore. But leg day be killing me.

I also did a 10 mile bike ride on Sunday or Monday. I can’t remember, but it was the day before leg day, so I think it was Sunday, so I’m sure my body is aching from that as well

:mjlol: lifting like that, youre supposed to be tired. 5 sets. :snoop: Nothings wrong with lifting light unless your ego is big and youre scared to get it crushed. You just have to watch your form and hold the weight for some seconds (3 to 5 seconds or longer if you can take it) at the height of the resistance to feel the burn. If youre still in pain after a few days and it gets worse, go to a doctor. Dont ignore it.
I have no ego at all.

I just want to be healthy and never go back to being inactive.

My lower body is stronger than my upper body, because I can’t bench press that much.

I used to overdo my leg days, I would end up feeling like I was about to throw up, so I started splitting leg days into two days (quads focused & hamstring focused) and I would recommend it since legs are such a large group of muscles.

If it is easy then the weight is too light.

I'm referring to the other poster saying that OP can't do 150 lb front squats on a smith machine if he's struggling with that on back squats. I was saying it's easier to squat on a smith machine. I don't like them though because it restricts the natural range of motion.

Edit: my bad, that was you. Yeah you're right it's too light but it is easier than free weight squats.

The app says smith machine but I did use that. It was just the free weights or barbell whatever it’s called.

I never said, I was struggling to do it. I just said I’m having DOMS lol
