Was there a saturday show with an intro of the wrestlers scrolling up or down?

I used to watch it on & off with my brother, and I watched the cartoon so I knew who Hogan, Piper, JYD, etc. were... but I didn't REALLY become a fan until I saw Mania III. My friend Tony's moms brought it from the video store and we watched that show from beginning to end. It was summer '87. After that I started watching any wrestling show there was on TV.

Stopped watching faithfully around '94... would check it out every now and then, but I'd see shyt like Doink the Clown, Mantaur, or The Yeti and be like :rudy: So I tuned out mostly until '97. My uncle called me and told me Flyin' Brian died, so I turned on Raw that night. Slowly but surely, I got back into watching every week. By the time Austin & Tyson got into it, I was back on full-time. Been watching since, even tho' sometimes I lose interest and stop paying attention.

I remember my first match like it was yesterday, I was a junior in high school, Harley Race and Dusty Rhodes wrassled to a 30 minute draw. My parents just bought their first colored TV and it was the first thing we happened to watch on it

I think my first episode of RAW was when the Brood joined the Ministry. I loved the Brood's entrance. I was a bigger fan of the spectacle than I was of the wrestling then and now there is zero spectacle in wrestling.

I stopped watching RAW regularly when Evolution formed and I stopped watching wrestling for a long time after Brock Lesnar left. I didn't come back until I watched the RAW with Nexus beating down John Cena. I've stopped watching WWE regularly for a while now though, it's just not worth the time now.

We were like 3 or 4 weeks late and it was the build-up to Undertaker - Batista HIAC at SS.
Next thing i know i browse wwe.com and Edge had just won the WHC at Armageddon, had no idea who he was. :russ:

I been watching wrestling since 97, but 98 is where I was infatuated. It was like it had everything built for classic entertainment.

Violence, athleticism, comedy, drama, and women all wrapped into one show.:ohlawd:

Them were the days. Nwo/attitude era:ahh:

Was aware of it in the late '80s because I had friends that watched it, but I didn't fully convert and get caught up in it on my own until 1990. That summer was rough on a Hulkamaniac. :to:

Since I was four so, since 2001, I stopped watching in 2009 and I've been trying to get back into it since mid 2015. I have a hard time catching it on TV but I keep up with the news and all

Since about 88 for me. Which would be 28 years now so I remember how good this shyt used to be. Even when wrestling wasn't mainstream and the only time you could watch it was the rare time WCW on CBS on Saturday's or if you were lucky enough to have cable Saturday Night's on TBS you still were given a good product with good matches and storylines being advanced. Now these shows today are just filler a lot of times and it's a shame cause their are still some great minds that could make the WWE a great program again. You cant tell me if Vince would give Heyman and Ross full booking control that the product couldn't become close to what it once was with all the talent and airtime they have.
