His second album was a much better project than his first one..I mean I was still
at 40% of the album but his song writing ability is undeniable.. I just don't think he can last 10 more years like say a Nas, Jay or Kanye..If he doesnt change his subject matter and grows as an artist it's gonna be a wrap in 5..Even Eminem today, as wack as his last album was..has evolved from his SSLP days.

So you think Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and The Game all understood the G Unit brand the same way that 50 Cent/the label did? I think 50/the label held that brand together until it killed itself off.
50 is business savvy as fukk and I'm a big fan of his business moves. I think the reason he fell off in music is he stopped putting out a quality product and couldn't adapt when the scene changed (he did try though). The beef damaged his brand too. 50 Cent now is using music to keep his personal brand alive (as a marketing tool) and I think he probably misses the music spotlight.
Drake has complete creative control in his contract and 40 said that labels are coming to them for what's hot. They haven't fukked that up yet. This is the sign that he seems to be in total control of his brand and the results prove he knows what he's doing.
