Til the average beat makers start bossing up and owning their own brands, and become actual producers; right now beat makers are of very little value because there are so many of them and it's so easy to get into it. A lot of heads that get fleeced are doing so because they don't understand the fundamentals of business. There's a big difference between being a beat maker and being a producer: one of them actually has power in the industry and the other can literally be replaced with the snap of a finger.
