I think the bigge conversation folks need to have is deading the perception that the person youre best suited for may not be the person you wanted the most.

One of the biggest signs I knew I was growing up....was the ability to look past the sex, looks, and surface perceptions of past or possible relationships. Its easy to get caught up in the optimistic and theoretical alternative reality, but not actually focus on the tangible and the substance of the present and now.

Once you realize that, you realize even some the best looking women who may like you (at the moment) are not good for you in any long term capacity.

And I say that as someone whos "significant other" by all metrics is a beautiful woman.

That's the problem with modern relationships. When your relationship is based on your perceived level then it will never last.

Everyone constantly looking for the better deal means no security in the relationship so then what's the point.

Average dude is by a woman's perception a 5-6 out of 10. By that logic you shouldn't be scoring more than a 5-6 in a women, anything beyond that is overachieving not settling.

Facts is every single person has to settle on some level with their partner. This aint build-a-bae you're not going to find someone that has every single attribute you want in a partner with nothing negative to go along with it. That person doesn't exist or if she does she's taken.
