Jay still lives in the middle of the city though and jus outside.
Fab moves back, a couple people or most people live in Jersey.
We got 2 chainz bragging about a million dollar crib while on manhattan the average price for an apartment is 1.5 million.

I think this is the truth... Few rappers could actually live in a nice place in manhattan like jayz 50 n diddy... I dont even think nikkaz like jada n fab could afford it n they someway big names in the industry....

This gotta be the main reason moreso than privacy n the overpopulation... I dont think these attention seekin nikkaz would trade a multimillion penthouse in the city for a mansion in the back of the woods...

To put in perspective, this spot was 4BR, 3 BA, New development and was going for ~$500M

That wouldn't get you a studio apartment in the good parts of the city.

Mad cats around here live in Alpine and Englewood, NJ and other NY Suburbs (LI, NJ, CT) I seen a few of them at the gym or just going to the store.
