At the time, I was thinking this dude's crazy. I'd be more than good with $100k. I think back then I was making maybe $77k. Now that I'm making more than $100k, I can definitely relate.

Depending on where you live and whether you have kids, $100k isn't shyt.

Earlier in the thread, I mentioned that I make around 150k. For all you screaming Ducktales, it goes like this:

I'm 32 (been in the workforce for about a decade), I live in LA, I work in Big Law, and I have side family venture that pays me like 3-4K a month. So I make about 110-120K a year from my job, and another 30-40K a year from the family venture.

No Ducktales here.

Bullshyt. When people say most people here are telling ducktales it’s based on simple logic. The percentage of Americans making six figures are tiny and vast majority of those making those figures are over 45.
It’s a figure most Americans will never ever come close to making. It’s even rare amongst black people(another fact.) So you basically telling us that some obscure forum filled with young black people have somehow bucked this trend and are making 6 figures?

And let’s not even get to the fact that the coli itself is filled with ducktales when it comes to everything from women, sex, travelling, height, physique etc. Y’all come here just to live out your fantasies and we know that but please don’t try and tell us your fantasies are real.

I never thought making 6 figures was that big of a deal. I know A LOT of people making six figures, but that's because I am in healthcare.

I also believe that percentage posted in this thread is either off or very outdated. I didn't start making 6 figures until 2014 or 15. It might be the same for other posters.
