Put me in the over 100K club too. :to:

I'm on IBR, and I only pay the bare minimum. I'm waiting it out the 30 years. fukk em. Unless I'm making 6 figures I'm not even gonna think about trying to pay this off before the 30 year cutoff.

But you do understand you're going to be paying them an extra $5-10k with this strategy right?

I figured I pay them less than I actually owe though. At what I'm paying now they're not gonna see the 130k (:sadcam:) I actually owe them in 30 years. If I start making more money, and have to pay more then that's a different story. I'll probably go a different route then.

$12k so far, I'm in my Junior year so double that by the time I graduate :sadcam:
I'm hoping to god I can get my loans forgiven when I get a teaching Job. I can probably get all of it paid off within a year or two of teaching since my mom is ok with me living at home rent free.
It's time to invest in $20 dollar stocks and see where it goes in two years :feedme:

I dunno about the whole "lose 100% on investments thing" but I guess I respect it :yeshrug:

I just felt like, if they scamming me by making me pay large sums of money to be educated, then i can scam them by paying them back in 50 years :yeshrug:

what kinda loan you got :wtf:
you're not scamming them by delaying your payments to them. They're scamming you. That compounding interest is a monster.

None.

Sometimes I take a few classes a semester when I can and then I write it off at the end of the year.

My girl got a FULL scholarship for medical school :blessed: You know a bruh was happy as shyt , not having to worry about that hanging over us after we get married.

As for me, 7k student loans and 6k CC (:snoop:). I'm ashamed at my CC debt. I make waaaaaayyy too much for using a CC. I've stopped that though. I don't really count auto or mortgage since those are pretty normal.

I worked, got some fed student aid (don't ask how) and graduated with $0.00 debt (aerospace engineering).
Then I heard that my school increased tuition 20 percent the following year :whew:
I started off in school as an AE major, took a different road and I'm an air traffic controller now.

One of my college friends went that way after graduating (he works for the FAA).

yeah the tuition can really differ...i know in the states, top schools charge like 40 a year...here in canada, the best of the best will charge ya like 25 a year

and tuition reimbursement for law is real tricky, i dont even know if a company would do it
Tuition reimbursement in law is just your signing bonus. Bro just graduated and is starting on Bay St this month.
