How much was rent at your first spot?

Pops was just telling me he was paying $575 in the early 90s for a 1 bedroom in Hyde Park(affluent chi neighborhood). Same building has 1 bedrooms starting at $1450 in present day

And actually my pops old unit is for rent, says it looks the exact same except for new appliances and cabinets

Added bonus: I lived rent free my last year there because the landlord relapsed on crack and lost the property. It was the last time I also bought a car brand new. Lol!
