How much was rent at your first spot?

$250/month with two roommates in a duplex in Cleveland ($750/ month total). Was hell.

First spot on my own with no roommates was $625 for a studio near OSU.

Fresh outta college in 2006. My best friend and I got a 2BR 1BA for $1050. In a Northern Silicon Valley Suburb. Had it for 2 years at that lease.
Now it states minimum $2500

550 for a spot right across from a major orlando attraction that is open to to this day. Same place will cost u 1500+ for a one bedroom now. But they say ubi is bad cause prices will rise. 550 was the going rate for an apartment in a very good area in a tourist hotspot not even 20 yrs ago. Same place is now full of multiple people in every leased place living as roomates cause wages have not kept up

Go a few blocks east you got Marquette PAWGs jogging and doing yoga in the grass, go a few blocks west its straight and basically an open air drug market. They cleaning it up over there, bet in 10-15 years it’ll be gentrified

Nah I was only up there for 8 months , finished my apprenticeship and bounced back to chi. Be thinking bout sliding back up there, city is way cheaper than chi.
