Been dog sitting for my sister the past few days, bout ready to drop him off at a shelter somewhere.

Slightest noise such as a passing truck or wind, nonstop barking and growling

Lunging at people & squirrels, birds when I walk him

Pet hair all over my floors

having to walk the mf in 30 degree weather after getting off work at 6am

Tore up my gym bag cuz it was granola bars in it

they stink, no matter how many times you bathe them

Dk how you animalset brehs do it, too much unnecessary extra work

Had dogs growing up, had dogs with ex-girlfriends because they love dogs. I like dogs myself but not when I'm living on my own. Extra work.

It's easier if you have your own house as far as walking them if:

You have a backyard with a dog door where they can come and go as they please.

Or the setup I had with my ex, where we had a hook in the cement by the front door with a long leash attached. Then we just opened the door, attached the leash to the dog and he can run around on his own.

Yeah living alone with your dog is hard. Only because you’re not there to do certain things that it needs to do unless you have your place set up that way.

One reason I wont really have my dogs at the condo and leave them with my ex because she’s there all day.

I don’t mind cats, had them growing up because of my grandmother and sister, but i dont know… They’re kinda fukking useless, not really loyal, temperamental, and plus I’m allergic

We also had a big ass German shepherd. Dog would fukk you up if you fukked with us, scared half the humans it didn’t fukk with, was used during hunting, etc. loyal af… I like dogs more than people. They can sense the bullshyt in people I think
