Though they should have gotten Amare that season the Jamison pickup was more than enough to put them over in the East. Remember that Amare and Shaq didn't play all that great together the previous year in Phoenix and maybe Ferry took that into consideration. But Hickson should have been shipped out for a player of Amare's talents. But with Antwawn Shaq Bron and Mo Williams they should have been in the Finals in 2010. But we know how that ended up playing out and why.

There is no way you keep Hickson and then don't play him in the playoffs. If Bron hadn't already been planning to leave that should've been enough to push him over the edge. :heh:

After seeing how those guys played against Boston how can you honestly say it should have been enough? :dwillhuh: KG ate Jamison for lunch. Mo Williams was inconistent as fukk. Shaq was the epitome of :flabbynsick:. And the Celtics gave Bron the same problems that they always did with no one to make them pay for it.

Hey they got Shaq :shaq:

:manny:

but in all seriousness, they had 7 YEARS to give him something and they just dropped the ball thinking 60 win seasons were enough for the team... I just my Bulls don't do the same to Rose :sadcam:

They won't do the same, they'll trade him for a Top 5 pick and keep rebuilding for another decade.

This is why :lolbron: is a boss.

Most players stay in the situation until it's too late.. KG did it but he got lucky when he got to the Celts.

He said :childplease: fukc this and bounced.

He took his future in his own hands and got the hell up outta that dump

On paper they had enough and they were still the faves to get to the finals until the Celts beat them. That's why I say they had more than enough. And Shaq had a couple of good games in that series. If Bron would have showed up them boys would have beat Boston. In 2009 it was just some fluky shyt with Orlando playing out their minds. But in 2010 without Bron just quitting on the Cavs they were destined for the Finals.

He had a bad series (shooting wise) against a great defensive team. Only Bron could put up 27 19 and 10 in an elimination game and have people accuse him of "quitting". :snoop:

No way you could look at those last couple of games and say Bron gave it his all in either one of them.

Games/series aren't won and lost on paper though:heh:. On paper they shoulda beat ORL but them nikkas shot lights out for the entire series and there was no answer for Dwight. Boston always did a good job against Lebron, because his jumper was still streaky and because no one else really demanded attention. Jamison and Williams were brought in to do that and they weren't up to it. They couldn't hang with Rondo and KG. I don't care how talented you are...you don't hold Pierce to those kinda numbers and put up damn near 20 and 20 in an elimination game while quitting.

You honestly can come out and say Bron played to his fullest abilities that series. fukk the close out game what about the two before that. From game 3-6 Lebron quit on the Cavs with his pending free agency on his mind. He might have got numbers but I saw every game in that series and it was times when I was baffled just watching him standing in the corner not wanting the ball and playing hot potato with it when he got it. The same thing he did in the Dallas series but I guess he didn't give up then either.
