Recommended reading: the 50th Law by Robert Greene.

Talks alot about conquering fear and being action-oriented.

Somebody posted a synopsis of all the chapters on YouTube. You'll get the gist of it from these.

Deep in the south kickin uptop game
- borrowing or sticking your hand out to someone else should be frowned upon, its always better to have/get your own when you can, but we've all been there, so in cases where you do have to ask the assistance of someone else always make it appeal to their interest, its a greedy world and people are more likely to give you that helping hand if there is something in it for them

-set your standards and morals and don't break them for nothing or no one. This is especially true when it comes to dealing with females. I took my lumps to learn this lesson as a youngin. If you gotta be out of character to get a bytch's attention you don't need it because she wont even respect you after you've jumped thru all her hoops of fire

- KEEP YOUR WORD! without it you are nothing

- Don't hold grudges but don't forget either, karma will serve them their justice in due time but completely forgetting leaves you open for them to do the same shyt again

- before you can be a man for a girl or your boys you have to be a man for yourself

- always look a man in the eye when talking to him, ion know about yall but i take it as a sign of weakness and timidness when a man can't look me in my eyes

- im pretty sure we all heard this in school but its making more sense now than ever, you have 2 ears and one mouth for a reason, do more listening than talking and you will stay ahead of the game, "a wise man speaks because he has something to say; A fool speaks because he has to say something"

1. Write down your plans, goals for the following the day, the night before. I use the app Any.DO on my iPhone.
Try to put at least 2 HIGH VALUE action items on your list everyday.Big goals are accomplished through multiple smaller steps.

2. Honestly assess yourself. Every quarter review your successes and failures. Re-calibrate the weak spots and try to do more, be better, grind harder than the previous quarter/month.
I write all this stuff down in a progress journal. Not only is thereupetic but it keeps me honest. You can't bullshyt cold hard facts. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't.

3. Read up on psychology.
If you don't know how the mind works (perception, biases, etc) how the hell you spose to conquer it. Check out You Are Not So Smart
These posts on Procrastination and Learned Helplessness really hipped me to the power of having a strong mind game.
