After a long weekend of messing around with the Vive, i must admit that VR gaming is most definitely the future. Having full room VR is most definitely a life changing experience. I demoed the unit to my fam and a bunch of friends and they were overwhelmingly positive. But playing awesome VR games like Windlands, Holopoint, The Lab had me imagining how cool it would be like to play a Zelda game in this format. Sword fighitng and shooting arrows at beasts would be a transformative experience in VR. A Mario title would be equally epic as well, but probably better in a third person view like Lucky Tales. Ultimately, Nintendo needs to ensure us that whatever new system they plan on making will be VR enabled. Or at least consider making titles for the HTC Vive. Their future viability as a company will depend on it.
Lastly, everyone needs to cop a VR unit. The Vive will ultimately be the better unit due to the full room VR capability and higher build quality. Im actually intrigued by the potential of the PSVR unit, but i really want to see the games their considering releasing first.
