I mean it is what it is. If Timbaland himself didn’t dictate that the characters be realistically drawn and animated with black features and just said “give me the classic anime aesthetic” then thats exactly what your going to get.
Timbaland never struck me as particularly Pro-black so i’m sure he wasn’t even thinking about it.

This is lazy thinking. If capital is the deciding factor behind all decisions - "well we don't run the studio, we don't make those decisions, it wasn't my call" - then it cannot possibly apply to Timbaland. He can literally start or buy multiple animation studios. "It is what it is" won't fly.
