i'd give this an 8/10. Better than GKMC if u ask me. Classic tho? Nah. I feel like Kendrick is still feeling out the artist he plans on becoming

Honestly it's an amazing album but it's one of those projects you forget about till you listen again .

So a couple weeks ago I randomly picked it up again because I wanted to hear blacker the berry .

Ended up listening to the whole album .

Very dope project deserves all the acclaim but I'm not gonna front like I'm pressed to listen to it .

Think the album is an incredible effort but ultimately falls short just because he over complicated his message. Takes nothing away from 7/10ths of the album though

Good album, but it's not a classic. I respect it for what it was but its hard to listen to. I didn't enjoy it musically (if that makes any sense)

But "Alright" is a classic though. If you have people singing your lyrics at rallies etc. then you definitely have something special

As an amazing album that spoke to the anger, confusion, and violence of 2014/2015. The right message at the right time.
