How would Klay Thompson fair as a #1 option on another team?

Never seen one practice vid of Klay but I'm certain all he practices are spot up 3s, running curls into 3s and post up on smaller guys. Not hating on that skill set tho.
If he did develop a handle tho..... Curry not gonna like that.
Oh and dude got elite stamina tho. Plays D all game.

Depends on how the team is set up around him. If you have shooting or an elite scorer/distributor and you are basically just asking him to do what he does now with more shots and lesser players he'd be fine. Now if you are asking him to break down defenses and set other folks ups you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Also we don't know what kind of leader he is or how he responds to that constant figurative and literal pressure of being the face. He's pretty streaky as is. I doubt that gets better with greater defensive attention and scrutiny.

I wouldn’t doubt him as a 1b. Long as the other guy can pass or create. You don’t him handling the ball for the last possessions but he could be successful outside of GSW.
